Would recommend a little work on the showers, maybe adding a shelf and towel hooks. No place for you to set your stuff except the floor. But the water was nice and hot. I would stay again.

Formerly Whistle Stop RV. Making a phone reservation was easy. Several confirmation emails were soon received. The office opens at 1:30pm and closes at 5:30p. We arrived after closing... read more time and an envelope contained a site map, WiFi and bath house entry codes. This is a treeless lot with a level hard surface so no need to unhook for a simple overnight stay. Most spaces are pull through and almost long enough for our 22 ft attached to the F350 truck. Wal mart is across Franklin Ave. So all in all a decent overnight spot. Some travelers don't require a hookup to run their AC and are using the Walmart lot overnight. I would recommend entering the park off Willow rather than following map instructions to turn on Franklin Ave. The park is on the corner of S. Franklin and Willow.

The... read more one downside is the Wi-Fi. It is not strong enough for anything except basic social media type surfing. It was a low 1.5 Mbps the entire weekend. I had planned to do homework but had to find somewhere else to go to get better bandwidth to run the programs. The downside to Colby as a whole is the lack of restaurants. Lots of fast food but that's it.

The hookups are convenient and functioned properly. This is a put your cash payment in the envelope and through the door slot kind of place - no contact. While it is no ones idea of a destination, it is good for a night.

We had reservations for a KOA in Limon, while traveling to Colorado; however, a significant wind storm forced us to stop traveling early. Despite a few not-favorable reviews, we called... read more the Whistle Stop. Fortunately, they had a pull-through spot for us (lots of travelers pulled off of I-70).
Self checkin was easy (cash only), no issues with hookups, etc. We had 50-AMP service and water hookups. The laundry / showerhouse was old, but very clean.

It is just off I-70 so there is a little noise. We kept our fan blowing in the RV and slept fine. Nice little Antique Shop in the office. For a one night stop I would stop again.
